• Feed the King Parrots and Kookaburras that happen to drop by Forest Edge
• Bring your walking shoes and enjoy local or extensive Great Ocean Road walks (Wye River (Paddy's Path), Kennett River (Kennett River Walk)
• Fishing (trout in the river or rock fishing - bait available at Koala Cafe)
• Surfing (board and boogie - bring your wet suits!)
• Glow worms and koala spotting up Grey River Road just behind Forest Edge
• Star gazing – the sky is so clear you are sure to see a shooting star!
• Our favourite local pub in Wye River only five minutes away - watch the surfers as you enjoy a steak or local fresh fish. Kids love the play area, pool table and pinball games.
• Visit the Koala Cafe at Kennett River for local crafts, snacks, papers and those every day necessities. Just a short walk to the best cappucino and local information!
• Apollo  Bay approx 15 mins away- pubs cafes market and the pier
• Lorne approx  20mins away –shoping and the cafe
• Otway Fly- approximately a 75 mins drive past Kennett River
• Or just stop on the way on the course of your Great Ocean Road Getaway - next stop Port Fairy or even Robe!
